2022 OMNI Greenhouse Gas Emission Report

OMNI measured and established a baseline for our greenhouse gas emissions for the 2022 calendar year on employee business travel and commute exceeding 50 miles.

OMNI’s GHG emissions report provides measurement of our Scope 3 emissions for CY 2022. OMNI attests that the Scope 3 GHG emissions were calculated in accordance with the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard.

OMNI’s GHG emissions is reported as zero for both Scope 1 and 2. Both Scopes are not applicable as the majority of OMNI’s work is conducted remotely.

OMNI’s Scope 3 emissions measured approximately 6.7 metric tons of CO2-e. Business travel making up the majority of emissions at 5.5 metric tons while commuting was calculated to an additional 1.2 metric tons CO2-e.

OMNI’s Scope 3 greenhouse gas emission breakdown is as follows:

  • Carbon dioxide (CO2) – 6.417 metric tons
  • Methane (CH4) – 5.7e-5 metric tons
  • Nitrous oxide (N2O) – 1.87e-4 metric tons

OMNI is committed to further reduce our greenhouse gas emissions and our impact on the climate. Through diligent reporting, we will establish annual reduction targets beginning in 2023. We believe that reporting and meeting these short and mid-term goals will enable us to achieve a reduction in our emissions to net-zero by or before 2030.
