How to Engage OMNI
OMNI leads with a simple principle: AI is only valuable when it directly improves mission outcomes. Every engagement begins with a user-centered design (UCD) assessment that maps how analysts, operators, adjudicators, maintainers, or warfighters actually perform their work today. We identify the mission decisions, friction points, data dependencies, and security constraints that define real operational effectiveness. From that baseline, we isolate where AI can create measurable impact, not hypothetically, but in concrete workflows such as targeting, vetting, case management, logistics, threat detection, or readiness operations.

Mission AI Advisory

  • Assess mission workflows, data maturity, and security posture.
  • Define AI roadmaps consistent with agency modernization mandates and emerging readiness doctrines.
  • Deliver architecture diagrams, ROI projections, and actionable compliance plans

CASE STUDY: Army Enterprise Cloud Management Agency (ECMA) DevOps

Army Enterprise Cloud Management Agency (ECMA) DevOps

To gain the competitive advantage needed to win on the battlefield in the Information Age, the Army has a mission critical need to operationalize its data and invest in resilient information ecosystems specifically designed to provide and protect critical information for the Joint Forces. The Army’s ability to master the application of cloud computing is critical in the pursuit of operationalizing data. The mission of the Army’s Enterprise Cloud Management Agency (ECMA) is to increase Army readiness and lethality and as part of a secure, globally dominant cloud ecosystem, ECMA is tasked with delivering DevSecOps products, services, and expertise that enable the Army to deploy applications across multiple classification levels and cloud service providers. ECMA required a DevSecOps vendor to assume, expand, and continuously improve upon ECMA’s DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline services to reduce complexity, increase security, eliminate duplication of effort, and increase the Army-wide adoption of cloud computing technologies.

OMNI is implementing a new Kubernetes based multi-security, multi-tenant, hybrid-cloud platform for ECMA that includes Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and a DevSecOps pipeline as well as security, monitoring, and deployment services. OMNI supports onboarding of over 250 product teams consisting of over 1500 developers onto the platform. Our development of a GitOps architecture enables a rapid, consistent process to update tools, resulting in reduced time for updates from approximately 4 hours of manual procedures to less than 20 minutes. Our development of a process, workflow, JIRA tracking board and metrics significantly improves the customer engagement process. Initially, customers were reporting a lack of response and inability for CReATE to answer their questions. Now, response time is within a day, and we are receiving positive customer feedback. In addition, we delivered a cluster to the Data Engineer Division with appropriate controls so they can more rapidly deploy their applications to a secure and containerized environment and leverage DevSecOps best practices.

We build architectures to support Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2), Integrated ISR, GEOINT fusion, and cyber threat intelligence operations across the defense and homeland enterprise.

CASE STUDY: NGA Metadata Cataloging and Management Services (MCAMS)

NGA Metadata Cataloging and Management Services (MCAMS)

NGA provides critical support to the national decision-making process and the operational readiness of America’s military forces. Their mission is to provide timely, relevant, and accurate Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) in support of National Security objectives. To remain operationally effective within a fluid, unconventional domain, NGA must advance in capability and analytic methodology. Previous production systems lacked the tools to manage products and assets. NGA intelligence producers used a series of disconnected / unintegrated legacy systems in combination with collections of COTS products. Together, they are counterintuitive and insufficient in meeting mission needs and as a result, analysts were unable to discover and reuse assets to create new products.

OMNI provides software development and software engineering support to deliver the Apollo Metadata Management System (Apollo). Our software engineers, architects, and data engineers built the system on an unclassified development platform that can create, tag, and track metadata of legacy and new geospatial assets and products to enable discovery and reuse on all three domains. Through the Apollo user interface, an analyst or decision maker using the Apollo system can review and edit the metadata tags for work products and add comments and ratings to those products to facilitate collaboration, discovery, and reuse. This empowers users to efficiently provide and gather insights from data on an enterprise-wide basis. Apollo addresses the need to neutralize the challenges introduced by a complex data landscape, maximize the value of its assets, and empower data analysts to efficiently gather and share insights from those assets.

Rapid Software Development

We deliver secure, resilient, and scalable software at mission speed. Our engineering teams are embedded in defense, intelligence, and homeland environments, building and sustaining systems that power real-time decision-making, space-ground integration, geospatial analytics, ISR tasking, and threat detection. We specialize in rapid development lifecycles hardened for classified environments, and leverage AI to accelerate and validate software delivery without compromising security or control.

AI-Augmented Software Development
We integrate AI and ML across the software lifecycle to improve code generation, test coverage, security testing, performance tuning, and mission alignment.

  • AI code synthesis and scaffolding using Codex, CodeWhisperer, and domain-tuned LLMs for rapid generation of REST APIs, data pipelines, and UI/UX flows.
  • Automated test generation and fuzzing via model-based techniques and tools like DeepTest, Zest, and GPT-augmented test generators.
  • ML-driven static analysis and defect prediction using customized CodeQL, DeepCode, and AI-enhanced linters integrated into CI/CD workflows.
  • Performance profiling and optimization through AI-tuned hyperparameter search, workload telemetry, and reinforcement-learning agents for resource tuning.

We augment developers, not replace them—ensuring that all AI-generated code is validated, explainable, and auditable under secure engineering governance.

Secure, ATO-Ready DevSecOps Pipelines
We maintain continuous ATO-ready environments to support rapid deployment to mission networks. Our delivery pipelines integrate:

  • Automated RMF artifact generation, including SSPs, STIG checklists, and POA&Ms using open tools like OSCAL and ComplianceAsCode.
  • Role-based policy enforcement using OPA/Gatekeeper, SPIFFE/SPIRE, and zero-trust service meshes (Istio, Linkerd).
  • Integrated vulnerability management with real-time CVE scanning, SBOM generation (CycloneDX, SPDX), and container signing.

We enable government clients to field secure software at classified levels with full traceability, auditability, and policy compliance from code to production.

CASE STUDY: Unified Integration and Transformation Enterprise (UnITE) Prototype Project

Unified Integration and Transformation Enterprise (UnITE) Prototype Project

The Program Executive Office Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) maintains highly capable but segregated architectures, interfaces, standards, and products hosted in multiple disparate live and synthetic environments, using a variety of tools, methods, and frameworks. This stove-piped arrangement is not conducive to effective and efficient understanding and management of enterprise system interdependencies for modern training, threats, and test-based environments to achieve Multi-Domain Operations (MDO). The Unified Integration and Transformation Enterprise (UnITE) needs to provide an enterprise-wide product line factory that enables PEO STRI training, threats, and test-based programs to develop, secure, deploy, and operate training capabilities in a secure, flexible, and interoperable manner.

OMNI is providing an enterprise-wide product line factory to support the U.S. Army’s PEO STRI mission. We established an open, non-proprietary, industry-standard, multi-tenant DevSecOps Software Factory and migrated multiple pilot programs. OMNI leverages open architecture and modular design to ensure flexibility and scalability and we maximize reuse. We bring proven processes and technologies to streamline implementation and ensure full functionality.
