Rapid Software Development

We deliver secure, resilient, and scalable software at mission speed. Our engineering teams are embedded in defense, intelligence, and homeland environments, building and sustaining systems that power real-time decision-making, space-ground integration, geospatial analytics, ISR tasking, and threat detection. We specialize in rapid development lifecycles hardened for classified environments, and leverage AI to accelerate and validate software delivery without compromising security or control.

AI-Augmented Software Development
We integrate AI and ML across the software lifecycle to improve code generation, test coverage, security testing, performance tuning, and mission alignment.

  • AI code synthesis and scaffolding using Codex, CodeWhisperer, and domain-tuned LLMs for rapid generation of REST APIs, data pipelines, and UI/UX flows.
  • Automated test generation and fuzzing via model-based techniques and tools like DeepTest, Zest, and GPT-augmented test generators.
  • ML-driven static analysis and defect prediction using customized CodeQL, DeepCode, and AI-enhanced linters integrated into CI/CD workflows.
  • Performance profiling and optimization through AI-tuned hyperparameter search, workload telemetry, and reinforcement-learning agents for resource tuning.

We augment developers, not replace them—ensuring that all AI-generated code is validated, explainable, and auditable under secure engineering governance.

Secure, ATO-Ready DevSecOps Pipelines
We maintain continuous ATO-ready environments to support rapid deployment to mission networks. Our delivery pipelines integrate:

  • Automated RMF artifact generation, including SSPs, STIG checklists, and POA&Ms using open tools like OSCAL and ComplianceAsCode.
  • Role-based policy enforcement using OPA/Gatekeeper, SPIFFE/SPIRE, and zero-trust service meshes (Istio, Linkerd).
  • Integrated vulnerability management with real-time CVE scanning, SBOM generation (CycloneDX, SPDX), and container signing.

We enable government clients to field secure software at classified levels with full traceability, auditability, and policy compliance from code to production.

CASE STUDY: USAF Platform One BOA Task Order Contracts

USAF Platform One BOA Task Order Contracts

LevelUP is the cyber software factory for the Air Force and, with the help of industry partners, is developing the next generation of advanced cyber tools for the Air Force and Department of Defense by leveraging military-compliant Lean, Agile, and DevSecOps methodologies. The Air Force’s LevelUP Code Works Platform One requires support for product development and solicits full-stack DevSecOps, Cloud, and Infrastructure engineers and other key developers, trainers, and consultants through the Platform One Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA).

OMNI was awarded five Platform One task order contracts where we support Big Bang cloud infrastructure, Party Bus Platform as a Service (PaaS), CNAP cloud-based enterprise security framework, and Iron Bank capability. We are supporting Big Bang’s mission to deliver a baseline continuous delivery tool for deploying DoD-hardened and approved packages into a Kubernetes cluster. For Party Bus, we are facilitating remote onboarding for continuous ATO-enabled DevSecOps service for mission application development teams, enabling rapid development and deployment of approved working mission apps. For the Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) security framework, CNAP, OMNI performs continuous monitoring to enable eased access to unclassified and classified resources for the DoD. To help support Iron Bank’s ability to automate, secure, and accelerate the approval process of commercial and open-source containers, we support the container security toolchain to ensure seamless delivery and protection of applications.

CASE STUDY: NGA Software Aqua Badge Engineering Resources (SABER) / NGA DevCorps for Geospatial Apps

NGA Software Aqua Badge Engineering Resources (SABER) / NGA DevCorps for Geospatial Apps

NGA’s GEOINT Services organization revolutionizes, creates, and provides geospatial capabilities of common concern for National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) mission partners. DevCorps is one of the divisions within GEOINT Services and delivers accessible, intuitive, and interoperable development capabilities and services to enable a broad range of missions. DevCorps needed to increase their capacity to address mission needs for Agile software development by soliciting additional software engineering resource capabilities through the Software Aqua Badge Engineering Resources (SABER) contract.

OMNI’s team is building several applications to support the NGA’s mission to develop advanced mathematical, scientific, and geospatial modeling capabilities. We apply SAFe patterns and principles such as regular and predictable cadence, small batches of work, and synchronized cross-domain planning, as well as DevSecOps best practices including automated static and dynamic application scanning, secure coding practices and Security as Code, and deployed to NGA’s Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) based PaaS environment. Our approach enables the ability to generate various output files including military standard formats that are more conducive for effective analysis and dissemination.
