On June 8, OMNI announced the expansion of Digital University, the U.S. Department of War’s (DoW) enterprise training and readiness platform, with native learning management system (LMS) and student information system (SIS) capabilities designed to strengthen workforce development and training oversight.

The enhancements integrate learner administration, training delivery, certification management, and progress tracking into a single secure platform. The unified environment is designed to support service members, civilian personnel, and mission partners across the DoW.

The platform now supports curriculum development that combines commercial learning content, organization-specific training materials, assessments, and assignments within structured learning pathways. Expanded instructor-led training tools allow administrators to manage classes, enrollments, scheduling, communications, and reporting. New enterprise search capabilities help users locate training content and courses more efficiently, while a custom report builder provides visibility into learner progress, certifications, and organizational readiness. Expanded credentialing functions allow organizations to issue and manage badges and certifications tied to workforce development and mission requirements.

The redesigned interface simplifies navigation, boosts performance, and enhances usability for both learners and administrators.

“By bringing content orchestration, training delivery, learner administration, and readiness insights together within a single platform, Digital University provides organizations with a more scalable and efficient way to deliver training and track readiness across the enterprise,” said Parag Thakker, CEO of OMNI.
